M_CDREG Is Linked To Missing Export Data Mfc42.Dll General Use - Updated 10/16/03 Product Symptom M_CDREG is linked to missing export data mfc42.dll. Solution 1. Reboot PC, this usually fixes the problem. 2. Check for other copies of mfc42.dll on the system, and compare versions. Rename incompatible versions to mfc42.old copy the correct version off of the On-Line Installation CD to c:\windows\system or c:\winnt\system32. 3. If you continue to receive an illegal operation message perform the remaining steps. If you have completed steps 1 and 2 close the program. Re-launch the repair program and you will receive a message that states there is New Estimating Data would you like to update the data now choose "No". Click on "Setup" then choose "Registration" after choosing registration check mark the "Estimating" and then chose "Register Selected Products" and the registration will complete normally. * Note Iomega software puts an old copy of mfc42.dll into the c:\Program files\Iomega\common
