No Vendor Phone Numbers After Updating To The 32bit Version

Symptom

There are no Vendor phone numbers after I have updated to the 32bit version.

Solution

The previous management version had a customer phone# mask of ###-###-####.  It also had a different vendor phone# mask of (###) ###-####.  The new 32bit program will only recognize one of the phone# masks, not both. The only solution is to retype the vendor phone#'s without the (parentheses).

1. Go to Setup\Shop Data Setup\Default Settings.

2. Uncheck the 'Use Phone # Mask'. This will display both sets of phone numbers, but without the dashes.

3. Print a Vendor List Report as a reference under Reports\Management.

4. Go to Setup\Vendor Setup.

5. Double click the first vendor.

6. Delete the entire phone# including numbers, spaces, and parentheses.

7. Retype in the same phone# (Numbers only, no dashes).  Do the same for each vendor.

8. Go back to Setup\Shop Data Setup\Default Settings.

9. Recheck the 'Use Phone # Mask'. Set the Phone# Mask to= ###-###-####.
