Symptom

When installing Series 1 or Series 2, on disk 7 or when returning to disk 1, you get the following error: "SQL INSTALL ERROR - PLEASE CORRECT THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM AND RESTART INSTALL"

Solution

There are two old ODBC files in the C:\WINDOWS directory.

Note: Most of the time 'ONE WRITE PLUS' software has been installed on the system.

Delete ODBC.DLL and ODBCINST.DLL in windows directory.
