Mitchell Parts
and Labor Guide (v.4.x) FAQ
I am
having problems upgrading from OnDemand v.5.0 to v.5.1.
Most of the problems reported with
the v.5.0 to v.5.1 upgrade have been caused by a failure
of the setup program to autorun. If you are experiencing
difficulty with the upgrade process, please read the
Technical
Bulletin.

What
are the Software and Hardware Requirements?
A 32-bit application, OnDemand5 works
within the Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows
2000®, Windows ME, Windows NT® 4, and Windows XP®
software environments. OnDemand5 is browser-based,
requiring that you have Microsoft® Internet Explorer®
(IE) version 6.0, or higher installed on your system.
If you don't have a supported version of Internet
Explorer installed, the installation program will
automatically install it for you.
You also need at least one DVD/CD
drive to read the data. It is highly recommended
that you configure your system with two (2) DVD drives
so that you can use both Import and Domestic DVDs
without switching and that you copy the Estimator
data to your hard drive during installation/registration.
The most current software requirements
are posted at: http://www.mitchell1.com/hreqs/sysreqs.asp.
