Microsoft Internet Explorer Cannot Find File C:\\ Displaysvg.Htm

Symptom

After installing OnDemand Repair 5.5 you launch the program and receive the following error:

Microsoft Internet Explorer cannot find file c:\\displaysvg.htm.

Solution

This solution varies depending on the operating system. Verify temp file location via command prompt.

Click "Start" and choose "Run". Type in the word "command" and press "Enter" you should receive a command prompt.  At the command prompt type "set temp=c:\windows\temp". Press the "Enter" button and then type "Exit" and press "Enter" to close the command prompt.  Launch 5.5 and it should open without error.

 

*Note:  The temp directory location may be different depending on the operating system.
