Every time I open
Vintage, my computer attempts to dial
AOL (or other Internet Service Provider)?
The reason
this happens is that your Internet Service
Provider has configured your system to
dial them every time you open Internet
Explorer (IE). Because Vintage uses IE
to display the indexes, your computer
dials out when IE is started.
This can be corrected by choosing
never dial a connection
in the Connections panel
of the Internet Properties dialog
