Logging into Tractor-Trailer.net
for the First Time
The process for logging
into Tractor-Trailer.net is relatively simple. After your
subscription order has been processed, you are sent
an e-mail providing a temporary password and login
id. You then go to Tractor-Trailer.net and log in. The
first time you log in, you will be instructed to
create a permanent User Name and password.
To Log into Tractor-Trailer.net:
- After you have ordered, watch your e-mail for an activation
message from Mitchell. This message provides your
temporary User Name and Password. Open the e-mail message.
- Point your Internet Explorer browser to http://www.Tractor-Trailer.net.
The Opening Screen displays the log in fields.
- In the box provided for User Name, enter your
temporary user name from the email message. In the
Password box, enter your temporary password then
press Log In.
TIP: We recommend
that you copy and paste the User Name/Password from
the e-mail message. This eliminates the potential
for error. To copy your User Name, switch to the e-mail
message (Alt+Tab), click your mouse pointer on the
first character in the User Name, and holding down
the left mouse button, drag the cursor to the end
of the text, which should now be highlighted:
Now, choose Edit/Copy from the menu bar (or
Ctrl+C). This copies the text. Switch back
to the OnDemand log in screen and click in the User
Name field. Choose Edit/Paste (or Ctrl+V)
to paste into the field.

- Once you have logged in, another log in screen
instructs you to change to a permanent User Name
and Password.
- Enter a New User Name and New Password
and then enter the Password again in the Confirm
New Password field. Note: Your User Name
and Password must be at least six (6) characters
in length. This is your permanent password. It is
highly recommended that you write
it down and keep it in a safe place.

Screen.
